President Donald Trump on Monday said that Iran should have signed a deal over its nuclear ambitions, which he said could have prevented the ongoing barrage of missile attacks with Israel, while urging everyone to evacuate the Iranian capital of Tehran.
“What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
Iran and Israel have traded strikes with one another since last week. Iran has reportedly pressed Trump to help deescalate the attacks in an effort to stop Israel from launching more strikes.
