An HPD officer was hospitalized after a hit-and-run incident where the suspect ran a red light, crashing into the officer’s patrol car.
The incident occurred on August 29, 2024, on the Sam Houston feeder road. The driver fled the scene, but their vehicle was found, and the search for the driver continues with potential charges being considered by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
