Former Houston FBI agent admits to pocketing money, belongings while executing search warrants

A former federal agent is now facing up to ten years in prison after confessing to stealing money and property during searches, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

According to U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani, 37-year-old Nicholas Anthony Williams stole from several homes while conducting search warrants between March 2022 and July 2023.

Hamdani’s office also revealed that Williams admitted to making false claims regarding fraudulent charges on his government-issued credit card.

Williams had been serving as an FBI special agent in the Houston field office since 2019.
