Two people were confirmed dead following a fiery five-vehicle crash in Pasadena on Sunday afternoon.
Pasadena police responded to the scene at the intersection of Allen Genoa Road and S. Richey Street after receiving a report at 2:12 p.m.
According to authorities, one person in a vehicle that caught fire died at the scene, along with a passenger in another vehicle. The total number of injured victims has not been disclosed, but one person was hospitalized with serious injuries, and several others sustained less severe injuries.
An investigation is ongoing and is expected to take several hours to complete.
