A man is dead after being shot while attempting to enter his ex-partner’s home armed in northwest Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The incident occurred Tuesday night in the 9500 block of Willow Loge Court. Sheriff Gonzalez reported that the man showed up at his ex’s residence and was shot while trying to gain entry.
The armed man was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities confirmed that a child was inside the home at the time but was not injured. The suspected shooter stayed at the scene, and the case remains under investigation.
