Woman and her husband accused of plotting to kidnap and murder the man she was having an affair with.

An extramarital affair nearly escalated into a deadly incident over the weekend when a woman allegedly conspired with her husband to kill the man she was involved with.

Houston Police Department officers responded to the scene at a Chick-fil-A on Westheimer around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Hanna Alolaimi and her husband, Omar Bishtawi, appeared before a judge on Monday, where they were charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.

According to court documents, Alolaimi had been having the affair.

“It is alleged that both of you were married to other people, and when the victim discovered the affair, he ended the relationship,” the magistrate stated.

Rather than walking away, Alolaimi reportedly devised a plan to kidnap and murder the man she had been seeing.

Court records show that Alolaimi recruited her husband, who hid in the backseat of her vehicle while she arranged a meeting with the victim.

At the time, the victim was working as a DoorDash delivery driver and had picked up an order from the Chick-fil-A.

“It is alleged that you, Alolaimi, signaled to the victim, and he entered your vehicle,” the magistrate said.

Alolaimi and the victim had reportedly met behind a nearby Target for intimate encounters, close to the apartment complex where they both lived.

On the night of the incident, Alolaimi allegedly chose the Chick-fil-A location deliberately, intending to lure the victim to their usual meeting spot.

“(Alolaimi) tried to drive off with the victim, but he informed you that he had a delivery and couldn’t stay,” the magistrate said.

According to details read in court, the victim was unaware that Alolaimi’s husband was hidden in the backseat.

“Your husband then sprang out from behind a curtain in the backseat, put the victim in a chokehold, and pressed a firearm to his head,” the magistrate stated.

Investigators revealed that the victim attempted to escape, but Bishtawi shot him—once in the leg and once in the foot.

“This could have resulted in death due to the risk of the victim bleeding out,” the magistrate said.

The couple fled the scene but later contacted police to turn themselves in.

Court records indicate that Alolaimi and Bishtawi gave conflicting statements to officers. They now face charges of aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping.
