Houston police detectives are conducting a search in a wooded area along Elmview Drive in West Houston, near Blalock and Long Point. Authorities have confirmed that the search is related to an ongoing missing person investigation.
While the identity of the missing individual has not been disclosed, police revealed that the person was only recently reported missing, though they may have been unaccounted for as long as 10 years.
Volunteers from Texas EquuSearch are assisting in the search effort, utilizing radar technology to scan for any potential buried items in the area.
