Harrison Ford makes hilarious confession about his ‘Captain America’ role ‘

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is slated to hit the theaters on February 14, 2025

Harrison Ford’s latest role in Captain America made him embracing his inner idiot – and he’s not apologizing for it.

Legendary actor, known for his iconic roles in Star Wars and Indiana Jones, has made a humorous comment about his upcoming performance in the MCU’s Captain America: Brave New World.

In a recent interview with Variety at San Diego Comic-Con which was published on Thursday, August 1, Ford jokingly said that his role as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross required “being an idiot for money.”

While discussing what it took to prepare his upcoming role in Captain America, Fored quipped, “What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before.”

After joking, Ford switched his tones and continued: “I don’t mean to disparage it.”

“I’m just saying you have to do certain things that normally your mother would not want you to do — or your acting coach, if you had one. But it’s fun, and I enjoyed it. I had a great time, and I’m delighted at the response that we got with the trailer,” he added.

Ford took over the role of Thunderbolt Ross after William Hurt’s passing in 2022.

Hurt had played the character in five previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, including The Incredible Hulk and Avengers: Endgame.

Captain America: Brave New World will hit the theaters on February 14, 2025.
