Riot Games and Virgin Music Group have unveiled the lineup for the Arcane: League of Legends Season 2 soundtrack, set to release alongside the Netflix series in November 2024. The star-studded list includes artists like Twenty One Pilots, Stray Kids, Ashnikko, Stromae, Marcus King, and d4vd, each contributing exclusive tracks designed to elevate key moments in the Emmy-winning animated series.
Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games, said, “Arcane’s groundbreaking approach to music inspired an incredibly diverse group of artists from many genres, languages, and cultures who wanted to be part of this new season.” She emphasized that the soundtrack represents the global reach of League of Legends by collaborating with artists from around the world.
Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots expressed his inspiration from the show’s family themes, saying, “Music really helped bring that theme to life within the world of Arcane.” Stray Kids, who contributed the track “Come Play,” added, “Our single brings all sorts of voices and languages together, and we’re excited for fans to hear it.”
The first single, “Paint The Town Blue” by Ashnikko, was released on September 5. The full soundtrack will include songs from Freya Ridings, Stefflon Don, Fever 333, and Woodkid. With the success of the Arcane Season 1 soundtrack, which featured the chart-topping “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons, the second season’s album promises to continue captivating fans worldwide.
