Chappell Roan opens up about the devastating Los Angeles wildfires

Chappell Roan recently urged her fans and followers to aid the survivors of devastating Los Angels wildfires which has claimed lives of at least 27 people.

The 26-year-old singer took to Instagram Story and urged her fans to help communities, who got affected in the recent situation that took place in Southern California, on January 7, 2025.

“If you cannot donate supplies/volunteer and still want to contribute, this is a link to a list of many displaced Black families in need of funds,” wrote the Pink Pony Club hitmaker.

Roan also added, “The Raton Fire has destroyed nearly 1,000 structures in Altadena, displacing Black families who’ve shaped the community for generations.”

Her Story comes a day after her exclusive conversation with BBC Radio 1, in celebration of receiving the Sound of 2025 award was published in which the HOT TO GO crooner was praised for her boundaries that she has with press and fans alike.

“I think it comes out of survival more than bravery,” the Red Wine Supernova star told the outlet.

Roan continued, “Me standing up for myself on a red carpet or fighting for trans rights with what is happening [in the USA] is life or death.”

“It’s just a duty. I feel responsible to do my best as a human,” the Good Luck, Babe! singer added.

Chappell Roan is particularly known for her support for the transgender community.
