Charlize Theron, a celebrated actress and producer, is the newest big star set to join Christopher Nolan’s next movie at Universal.
According to Deadline, the 49-year-old star will act alongside an ensemble cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong’o, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.
The same outlet mentioned that the Interstellar director often combines actors he has worked with before and new faces in his movies.
Notably, Theron, who won Oscars for her performances in films like Monster, Bombshell, and North Country, is one of the actors joining Nolan’s cast for the first time.
The creators of the film are tight-lipped regarding the plot; however, sources claimed that the film descriptions released so far are incorrect and the movie is expected to begin filming in early 2025.
Moreover, Theron is soon starting work on a survival thriller titled Apex for Netflix, starring alongside Taron Egerton.
It is pertinent to mention that Nolan’s forthcoming movie will be released in Imax on July 17, 2026.
This release date is similar to other Nolan movies, like his Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer, which hit cinemas on July 21, 2023.
