DDG has claimed that Halle Bailey has been preventing him from seeing their one-year-old son, Halo. In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “Been fighting to see my son for months now… shout out to all the dads who try their best to be there. This s*** sucks.”

After deleting the post, DDG addressed the situation in his daily livestream. “Behind closed doors, I have not been able to see my son. Only if we on perfect terms and she around, it’s cool, but if we not, I don’t get to see him,” he said.
The rapper, whose real name is Darryl Granberry, also voiced frustration over how much time he gets with Halo. “Every time I’m there, he got a smile on his face, he happy to see me, but he only can see me for no more than 48 hours. I haven’t had my son to myself for longer than 72 hours max.”
He claimed, “I really feel like I’m a f***ing nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to have my son more than me, and I don’t even know the nanny’s name.”
DDG said he is now planning to take legal action. “I gotta go to court, do all this extra s*** when it ain’t gotta be like that,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Bailey, who has not publicly addressed DDG’s claims, recently announced on Snapchat that she and Halo are unwell, saying, “We do not feel good at all. I’ve just been using all my energy to take care of my baby and myself.”
The former couple, who split in October 2024 after three years together, initially appeared to co-parent peacefully but now seem to be facing challenges. Representatives for both have not commented on the situation.
