Shakira announced her plans about her custom Lamborghini which she purchased following her high-profile split from former partner Gerard Piqué in 2022.
The 48-year-old singer is ready to get rid of the luxurious car as she has announced to give it away in an Instagram post.
According to Daily Mail, the Hips Don’t Lie singer said in a statement, “This car was a gift to myself as I began my single life, but I realized that what truly matters is human connection. The car, the clothes, the material things—they don’t transform us. It’s the people we love and the connections we build that truly make a difference.”
As per the publication, the selling of the Lamborghini symbolizes a significant chapter in Shakira’s life.
The announcement came as she continues to promote her twelfth studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which allegedly reflects on her healing process post-breakup with boyfriend Piqué.
Shakira and Piqué ended their 12-year relationship in June 2022 after the allegations of infidelity.
Moreover, the split came when the Whenever, Whenever music artist allegedly discovered that her longtime beau was cheating with now-girlfriend Clara Chia.
The split inspired much of her recent music, which she described as essential to her emotional recovery, as per the outlet.
