Broadway star Sutton Foster has filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband of 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin, according to PageSix reports. The couple, who wed in 2014 in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, share one adopted child. Foster, best known for her role in Younger, filed the paperwork in New York County Supreme Court on October 23, 2024.
The divorce follows months of speculation regarding Foster’s relationship with her The Music Man co-star, Hugh Jackman. According to multiple sources, Foster, 49, and Jackman, 56, have grown close since working together on the Broadway production, fueling rumors of a budding romance. A source previously told Page Six that the two are “100 percent together” and in love, although both have kept the relationship out of the public eye.
Jackman, who filed for divorce from his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, in September 2023, has not commented on the rumors. The pair first starred together in The Music Man from December 2021 until January 2023, with the production grossing over $3 million per week.
Neither Foster nor Jackman’s representatives have responded to requests for comment on their alleged relationship.
