Grammy-winning artist SZA thrilled fans by announcing via X that new songs and mixes will be added to LANA: SOS Deluxe on January 6, 2025. This update adds to the expanded edition of her record-breaking 2022 album SOS, which already features 23 original tracks, the hit single “Saturn,” and 14 brand-new songs.
Released on December 22, LANA: SOS Deluxe propelled SOS back to the top of the Billboard 200, earning 178,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during its first week, Billboard reports. The combined versions of SOS marked SZA’s 11th nonconsecutive week at No. 1, further cementing her status as one of the leading voices in modern R&B.
LANA: SOS Deluxe boasts collaborations with acclaimed artists like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Yachty, Phoebe Bridgers, and Don Toliver. Notably, Lamar appears on the track “30 for 30,” marking his eighth collaboration with SZA.
Looking ahead, SZA and Kendrick Lamar are set to embark on the Grand National Tour, starting April 19, 2025, in Minneapolis and concluding on June 18 in Washington, D.C.
Meanwhile, SZA will also make her acting debut in the buddy comedy One of Them Days, co-starring Keke Palmer, which premieres on January 17.
