Trump turns Biden’s ‘garbage’ comment into campaign moment with Wisconsin stunt

Trump turns Biden's 'garbage' gaffe into campaign spectacle, rolling into Wisconsin in a MAGA garbage truck.

Former President Donald Trump made a bold entrance in Wisconsin on Wednesday, arriving at Green Bay’s Austin Straubel International Airport in a custom-made, “big, beautiful MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN Garbage Truck.”

Trump, donned in an orange safety vest, sat in the passenger seat as the truck cruised around the tarmac.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” he asked reporters, adding, “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The MAGA-themed truck arrival followed President Biden’s remarks during a campaign call, where he referred to Trump supporters as “garbage.”

Biden’s comment, said in response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s controversial remarks at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally, drew backlash from Republicans, who likened it to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” remark from 2016.

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden had stated on the call, adding that Hinchcliffe’s comments about Puerto Rico were “un-American.”

Republicans quickly criticized the remark. The White House later revised the official transcript with an apostrophe to imply Biden’s “garbage” comment referred solely to Hinchcliffe, not Trump’s broader base.

Biden attempted to clarify on social media, writing, “his demonizations of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant to say.”

Meanwhile, Trump dismissed any association with Hinchcliffe, telling reporters from the MAGA garbage truck, “I don’t know anything about the comedian. I don’t know who he is. I heard he made a statement but it’s a statement that he made. He’s a comedian. What can I tell you?”

The garbage truck then followed Trump’s motorcade to his Green Bay rally, where he was set to address supporters later in the evening.
