A toddler is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a body of water near a home in northwest Harris County on Saturday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the incident in the 10900 block of Windfern Lakes. Authorities believe the child is approximately 2 years old.
Emergency medical personnel performed CPR on the toddler before transporting them to a hospital.
Details about the circumstances leading to the near-drowning remain limited as the investigation continues.
