A woman is speaking with Houston police after allegedly shooting her husband following an argument on Sunday morning in North Harris County.
Patrol officers arrived at a home on Lone Oak Road in response to a family disturbance call, where they found a man deceased inside.
According to Sgt. Michael Ritchie of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the couple had been arguing when, according to police, the woman allegedly pulled out a gun and shot her husband.
Officials did not clarify whether the altercation was physical or verbal, nor whether the shooting was in self-defense.
The HCSO reported that children were present at the time of the incident but did not specify their relationship to the couple.
Ritchie stated that all witnesses have been interviewed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
