Investigators returned to the home of a Houston attorney after a man staying with him went missing.
On Thursday, Houston Police spent at least six hours at the residence on Sage Road in the Uptown area, taking photos in the garage but not disclosing what they were searching for.
The last known location of 40-year-old Robert Bond was the attorney’s home. He was last seen leaving on June 16 and has not been heard from since.
Bond had been living with attorney Sean Kennedy, his wife Alle Price-Kennedy, and their children. Alle Price-Kennedy explained to Eyewitness News that she had persuaded her husband to let Bond stay with them temporarily, as he was in a difficult situation, but she soon discovered he was using drugs.
At the time of his disappearance, Bond was on probation for drug possession. Following a search of the Kennedy home on September 5, police reported finding meth and cocaine.
“We confronted him about his drug use and called his parole officer, but he ran,” Alle Price-Kennedy said, though police have not confirmed this account. Following the search, Sean Kennedy was charged with drug possession, while Alle Price-Kennedy faced charges for credit card fraud.
In addition to the drugs, investigators found stolen credit cards, Social Security cards, and mail from neighboring addresses, including Bond’s driver’s license and Social Security card.
“Nothing in my house was found stolen,” Alle Price-Kennedy insisted, emphasizing her husband’s hard work.
Both Sean and Alle Price-Kennedy initially posted bond but Sean’s was revoked on Wednesday for violating bond conditions by continuing to contact his wife.
As of now, neither has been charged in relation to Bond’s disappearance.
