The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a northeast Harris County field on Wednesday morning.
The discovery was made around 7:35 a.m. by a landscaping crew in the 100 block of Subsea Lane. Authorities have indicated that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the case, although no clear cause of death has been determined yet.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s or 30s, did not show immediate signs of trauma, but an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Investigators suspect she may have been brought to the field by someone else. At this time, her identity remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
