A little over a month after a woman was assaulted while running at Memorial Park, Houston police have released a sketch of the suspected attacker.
The Houston Police Department shared the sketch, hoping someone might recognize the man. Authorities say the suspect pulled a woman off the trail while she was jogging on August 10.
A witness, another jogger, told reports that she heard the victim screaming as the suspect struck her in the face.
According to police, the suspect accused the woman of running over his brother before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid-20s, with black shoulder-length hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department’s major assaults division at 713-308-8800.
