Visitors saw a variety of local elected officials and organizations represented in the annual parade, along with characters such as Cinderella and the Grinch.

Thousands gathered in downtown Houston on Thursday to celebrate the city’s 75th annual Thanksgiving Day parade.

The festive event, held on a crisp fall morning, showcased a wide array of local organizations and intricately designed floats. Attendees enjoyed appearances by Mayor John Whitmire, other elected officials, local high school marching bands, mascots from the Astros, Rockets, and Texans, and beloved fictional characters like Cinderella, Darth Vader, and the Grinch.
