Donald Trump took oath and was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States at the Rotunda of the Capitol building on Monday after he defeated former vice president and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the November election.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several personalities including former presidents and vice presidents of the US among others.
