Morgan Wallen has claimed the top spot on the U.S. album charts with his latest release, I’m the Problem, marking the year’s biggest album debut.
The two-hour collection, which includes 37 tracks, earned 493,000 units in its opening week, according to Luminate, surpassing previous records held by The Weeknd, whose album debuted with 490,000 units in January 2025.
In addition to its impressive sales, I’m the Problem also shattered streaming records for 2025, amassing 462.63 million official on-demand streams. This marks the largest streaming debut of the year, though it still falls short of Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, which racked up 891.37 million streams in its first week in 2024.
Wallen’s album also posted strong physical sales, moving 133,000 copies in its first week, making it the largest sales frame for any country album in 2025. This achievement places it fourth overall for the year’s biggest sales week across all genres.
In other chart news, Jin’s Echo makes a notable debut at No. 3 with 43,000 units earned, marking the BTS member’s highest-charting solo album to date. Echo’s strong debut comes on the heels of Jin’s earlier solo success with Happy in 2024, which peaked at No. 4.
SZA’s SOS climbs to No. 2, while Kendrick Lamar’s GNX rises to No. 5. Other notable entries in the Top 10 include Sleep Token’s Even in Arcadia and Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet.
